The Designers

HEMYCA are women designing for the modern woman. Founded on the cultural heritage, experience, and skills of the design duo, celebrating the fusion of British and Italian design. Weaving timeless elegance together with a contemporary edge, exploring themes of contrast through precision tailoring, exceptional detail, and quality whilst reflecting the needs of a modern woman. HEMYCA is a pioneer of the fusion of digital media and fashion.

Using a bespoke iPad App to create a digital holographic image of models wearing the collection and allowing viewers to gain an intimate look at the garments’ luxurious details; live models and photographic stills using the latest CGI and Parallax effects to create motion. HEMYCA, a London‐based luxury womenswear label, launched by designers Helen Clinch and Myra Nigris who met whilst studying at the London College of Fashion and through a shared passion and devotion to the art of luxury fashion design ‐ as well as a tradition passed down through family generations, Helen’s family worked in Savile Row while Myra’s family own an Atelier in Italy.

After spending 10 years in the industry training with designers Roland Mouret and Ben de Lisi as well as designing for brands including DKNY, Calvin Klein and Zara, Helen and Myra created HEMYCA. They are a highly‐talented, unique duo of British and Italian designers with incredible work ethos, ambitious, driven, along with a strong mix of tenacity and commerciality. In addition through groundbreaking technology they have truly revolutionised the way fashion presentations are received.

Their vision, very simply: ‘to create a globally recognised fashion brand synonymous with Innovative design, luxury and elegance’. HEMYCA designs, manufactures and distributes unique, timeless elegance with a contemporary edge tailored garments for the luxury womenswear market. In addition to the wholesale and retail operations, HEMYCA has an in‐house Atelier made‐to‐ measure service, including womenswear, menswear and bridal.
